There are so many, but here are few that are most interesting to me.
Stellar Blade
Probably the most anticipated title of the month, is an action role-playing soulslike game, that reminds the style of Bayonetta. The game takes place in a future Earth that has lost a fight against an alien race. You have to fight your way through them in order to save humanity. Stellar Blade is development in Unreal Engine, and will be available on April 26 2024, on Playstation 5. There is an available demo on the Playstation store, if you want to try it before its release.
Children of the Sun
A puzzle, tactical-shooter and strategy indie game, available on Steam on April 9, 2024. You play as a girl on a mission of vengeance towards a cult and its leader, since they have destroyed her life. The game offers a unique view from the bullet that is shot by the girl and every shot counts in this intriguing puzzle shooter game.
Dave the Diver (Playstation port)
This is not a new relase, as it has been available for Windows and MacOS, as well as the Nintendo Switch since 2023, but it finally arrives on the Playstation 4 and 5 consoles. This is an action adventure game but with magement gameplay as well. where you get to explore the deep sea to collect ingredients for your sushi restaurant. The game has a pixel art aesthetic and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam.
Sea of Thieves
Another title that arrives on the Playstation world is Sea of Thieves. The title has arleady been available on Windows and the Xbox consoles since 2018. It is an action adventure game, and you play as a pirate that work for different trading companies. It offers a cartoonistic aesthetic and you get to experience an open world experience from a first person camera view. The game is multiplayer and crossplay and it will be available for PS5 on April 30.
